The University of Bridgeport (UB) is pleased to release the full calendar of events for this year's Big Read, which will celebrate Ray Bradbury's Fahrenheit 451. Activities will take place October 16 - November 30, 2012. Referred to as "a book club on steroids," The Big Read encourages local organizers to select a book to read, discuss, and enjoy together as a community.
Highlights from this year's Big Read include a 24-hour read-a-thon, film screenings, art exhibits, a performance by the nationally acclaimed Capitol Steps, and Bridgeport Cluefest, a downtown scavenger hunt.
